Cycle machines:
"C Series" hood-type dishwashers

Several models are available to satisfy both production and organisation requirements of small restaurants and canteens. Equipped with stainless steel filters and washing and rinsing arms, they can be used as well in a dishwashing system organised with big dishwashers, for the separate washing of cutlery and glasses.
The C Series is planned in the configuration of "Intelligent Machine" too, which, thanking the automatic rack identification system (top version C166) allows the complete automation of the washing process.

Flight conveyor machines:
"NG Series" utensil-washers

NG

  • Belt speed (m/min): from a minimum of 0.6 to a maximum of 4.2;
  • Electric or steam powered;
  • The NG series is completed with a vast range of accessories for saving energy and ensuring that hygiene regulations are respected;
  • Neutral zones: the machine is equipped with neutral zones in order to prevent water from one zone going into the upstream one in the process of washing large containers;
  • Double insulation and stainless steel side arms come as standard equipment on this series. This provides for a consistent level of production and a powerful washing process.

The NG series conveyor belt machines are offered with numerous options, including a dryer and heat-recovery unit, thereby making them particularly suitable for use in difficult conditions and for heavy-duty washing.

Flight Type Machines:
NL Compactsystem series dishwashers

NL

The NL-Compactsystem dishwashers are proposed as the entry series of the flight dishwashers and they constitute the best compromise between professsional performances (up to 5.000 plates/h) and price.

The NL-Compactsystem machines are more compact than the main flight dishwashwer series NE and they are fitted with cantilever entry and outlet table to facilitate the cleaning operation in the area below the tables.

The NL series is available in 2 basic versions, with or without the double rinse (Comenda "Ecorinse") and all models have been designed to be complemented by several options to meet all different operational situation.

Particular care has been given to the devices for energy saving and for collecting the most important parameters to be monitored for the compliance with the hygienic standards (HPS).

Heat pump, heat recovery and autotimer are some of the most important options to limit the energy consumption. Also a wide range of conveyors is available to allow the washing of the most common thermal trays used in the hospital.

Machine supply: electrical or steam

Flight conveyor-machines:
LAV-LVP Tray-washer

LAV: tray-washer

Production from 1,000 to 1,500 trays/hour, depending on the model.
The new LAV series has been realized with a simple modular construction that allows for the washing and drying of all types of plastic trays commonly used for industrial catering operations.
It uses a simple, conveyor feeding system for channelling trays into the washing area. The easy-to-use unloading process can be synchronized with the trolleys collecting the clean trays at the end of washing.

LVP: tray-and cutlery washer

Production: trays/hour from 1,000 to 1,500 Flatware/hour from 1,950 to 4,500
The most sophisticated model in this series, the LVP allows for the simultaneous washing of trays and cutlery (the latter of which are put onto the conveyor belt by a device that magnetically separates the cutlery from the tray).
These machines can be easily synchronized with the belts transporting the trays at the beginning of the process so as to adjust the trays arrival speed to the machine's actual optimum washing speed.

RACKS

A range of racks allows for choosing the most suitable models to optimize productive capacity on the basis of the size of the dishware to be washed. Comenda offers racks for plates, glasses, beer mugs, cups and a variety of devices to be mounted on the racks to adjust them for washing pans, trays, cutlery and pan lids.

DISHWASHING SYSTEMS

Over the years, Comenda has accumulated significant expertise in planning and building dishwashing systems for the food-service industry. Much of this expertise is seen in integrated industrial systems for washing dishes, glasses, containers, trays, cutlery and other kitchen utensils.

Comenda's service does not stop at merely assessing the customer's needs and supplying the most suitable dishwashing equipment. The company also specializes in providing solutions to the customer's organizational problems. The optimization of material flows from the area where food and beverages are consumed to the area where the dishes and other items are washed, and the search for the best operating conditions, thanks to appropriate staff training, are examples of Comenda's ongoing commitment to ensuring that customers obtain the best return on their investments.

Comenda proposes the most suitable solutions for washing all the culinary utensils used for preparing meals for corporate dining facilities, with particular emphasis on compliance with the various technical and hygienic regulations.

As a result, Comenda is the ideal partner for large-scale food-and-beverage operations found in hospitals, universities, companies, restaurants, free-flows, hotels and public authorities. A qualified and flexible partner, well-positioned to identify the most suitable solutions that take into consideration not only the different technical and environmental aspects, but - and this is by no means a secondary consideration - also the customer's budget.

DISHWASHING TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

Comenda offers a broad range of complementary equipment that is used in transporting dishes, trays, glasses and other articles to be washed.
The transport system consists of conveyor belts designed to move trays from the areas where food and beverage are consumed to the dishwashing area. Such systems typically include trolleys, rack storage shelves, scrap troughs, sinks, prerinse hoses, presoak tanks and stainless-steel working surfaces. The entire process is designed to ensure a streamlined flow of material and to minimize the equipment operator's movements.

CONVEYOR BELTS:

The choice of conveyor supplied depends on the specific application. Comenda supplies corded (Polycord series) and slat conveyors, which are suitable for transporting trays, in addition to conveyor designed for transporting racks. The conveyor include the necessary curves (90° or 180°), "Y" channelling systems for merging two belts into one, loading/unloading units and suitable power and control mechanisms that ensure the necessary synchronization with the dishwashing equipment.

T5 WASTE-CUTTING AND SYSTEM (PULPER)

Comenda's waste-compacting system allows for the cutting and compacting of all the waste food residue removed from dishes and trays before they go into the dishwashing machine.

SYSTEM FITTED WITH WASTE MATERIAL CONDUITS AND CUTTING/COMPACTING UNIT

A flow of water channels the waste material towards the cutting/compacting system. Food residue is sent through waste conduits and into the pulper.

With respect to other similar units, the Comenda T5 unit offers the advantage of cutting residue such as plastic cups and paper napkins, without the risk of blocking the pumping system, while simultaneously reducing the volume of waste material by 1:9.

It is possible to add an optional special sanitizing circuit to the system in order to ensure that hygiene is maintained and to avoid the formation of any unpleasant odours.

CATERING

Comenda's activities also embrace the catering sector. The company designs and realizes optimal solutions for the transport, washing and drying of all types of dishes, trays and containers generally used for preparing meals.

The company's activities cover a wide range of application sectors spanning from airport catering to major sporting events and management of corporate dining facilities.
